Your Guide to Glyfada Beach, Corfu

About Glyfada

You dreamed it,
You wondered if it’s real,
You asked about it – it’s HERE!

Glyfada is one of Corfu’s most beautiful and best-loved beaches, nestled on the west coast of the island, approximately 16 km from Corfu Town (Kerkyra). Sheltered by dramatic cliffs and backed by lush green hills, the beach stretches across a wide bay of soft golden sand — regularly voted among the finest beaches in Corfu and awarded the prestigious Blue Flag for water quality and facilities.

Menigos Resort, where our apartments are located, sits right at the heart of Glyfada — a small, peaceful retreat with no late-night clubs or crowds. It’s the kind of place you come to truly unwind.

The Beach

Glyfada Beach is just 100 metres from our apartments — a gentle 3-minute walk. The beach is well-organised with sun loungers and parasols available for hire, and a range of water sports to keep the more adventurous guests busy. The crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea are ideal for swimming, snorkelling and simply floating in the sun.

Restaurants & Cafés Nearby

You won’t need to go far for a good meal. Right by the beach and within easy walking distance of the apartments:

  • Pazuzu Beach Bar & Restaurant — relaxed beachfront dining with cocktails and fresh food, right on the sand
  • Gorgona Taverna — traditional Greek taverna with a warm, local atmosphere
  • Golden Beach Taverna Restaurant — classic Greek and Mediterranean dishes with sea views
